RealClear is designed for a deal team that needs to make a decision without losing the source trail. Use the workspace for the working conversation; use a bounded counsel share when outside review is needed.

Comment on the record

Open a delivered Site Memo and use comments to discuss a finding, question, or decision point with your team.
  • Keep the comment anchored to the relevant section or claim when possible.
  • Use the thread to capture the question, supporting facts, and resolution.
  • Resolved threads remain part of the working record; they are not silently erased.
  • Inbox notifications surface assignments and new activity.

Share with counsel

Use Counsel share from a Site Memo when you need to provide a controlled packet outside your workspace. The shared packet is intended to carry the decision answer, open questions, and relevant supporting material. Before sharing:
  1. Confirm the memo is released and the material finding has citations.
  2. Set an appropriate expiry and recipient context.
  3. Share only the packet URL with the intended reviewer.
  4. Review existing share links and revoke any link that is no longer needed.
A counsel share is a convenience for a bounded review, not a substitute for your organization’s confidentiality process or professional advice.

Export a memo

A delivered memo may offer a PDF download. If the PDF is not available yet, return after the release state clears; export is intentionally withheld while citation or quality review is incomplete.

Keep the decision defensible

When someone asks “why?”, start with the cited material, the conclusion it supports, and any known unknowns that remain. Do not treat a score, summary, or share packet as a legal, engineering, planning, environmental, or other professional opinion.
