Ask Scout useful questions
Scout can work from your saved portfolio, source documents, comparable outcomes, jurisdiction context, and a specific site memo when that context is available. Try questions like:- “Which property needs attention first?”
- “What changed in public sources for this site?”
- “Which diligence questions are still open?”
- “Compare my saved sites.”
- “What does the record say about this jurisdiction or comparable outcome?”
What monitoring watches
Monitoring is portfolio-wide. It reports:- Sites with at least one monitoring rule.
- Rules currently armed for the site’s deal stage.
- The most recent completed pass.
- New public-record alerts, including severity and timing.
If Monitoring says “not fully active,” believe it. It means there are no watched sites, no armed rules, or no recorded pass yet; RealClear does not pretend a quiet screen means active coverage.
Respond to an alert
- Open the alert and identify the affected site.
- Read the source-backed alert detail and its date.
- Compare it with the latest memo, open questions, and active deal stage.
- Decide whether to log a team question, change your diligence plan, or ask Scout for the relevant record.
- Escalate to your project team or advisers when the change affects a material decision.
